We are proud to announce that Rivière was awarded Best Residential Development at the Property Council WA 2026 annual awards earlier this year.
Rivière has been many years in the making, with Towers 1 & 2 reaching completion mid 2025 and Tower 3 due for completion in early 2027.
On a personal level, Rivière has been my primary project since I commenced with Hillam Architects in late 2021, so it is satisfying to see the development recognised within the property industry.
Many staff members have worked on Rivière over the years both preceding and during my time here, and I thank all of them for their contributions.
Most notably however, I sincerely thank Alicia, Giuseppe, Greg and Louise Ward, who each made significant contributions along the way.
- Alicia Abbot, for managing re-approvals during construction, coordinating changes to the sub-penthouse and penthouse apartments, and managing all of the T3 documentation.
- Giuseppe Cataldo, for his amazing work resolving multiple technical challenges and regularly making possible the seemingly impossible; for coordinating the many layers and shifting sands of the building certification process; and always working with PACT and Edge’s consultants to achieve better outcomes.
- Greg Ewart, for his critical role in resolving detailing and his work to coordinate the services for an additional hospitality offering at ground level.
- Louise Ward, for her incredible work interpreting necessary changes that arose during construction.
All of these critical contributions took place while the project was under construction.
Riviere continues to be a complex and demanding project at a challenging time for builders and subcontractors.
I look forward to its full completion next year and the peer and community accolades we hope it will attract.
Meanwhile, this early award provides some welcome vindication for the hard work that has been invested to date and the justifies the significant risks that Edge Visionary Living has incurred in delivering this major project.
