The articulation of the building form combines a number of important themes within Claremont’s North East Precinct and wider urban context. 39 apartments are configured over 5 levels around a central courtyard that provides shelter from the prevailing winds but allows extensive natural light and ventilation to the common corridors and circulation.

All apartments have been orientated to maximise views and capitalise on the limited access to northern light while responding carefully to the western sun. Deep balconies, extensive screening and awnings ensure that solar heat gain is minimised to achieve the +1 energy targets set within the precinct.

The facades are articulated with extensive planter boxes and voids for feature trees that bring life and vibrancy to a fairly sterile corner of the precinct. Natural timber and stone throughout the project exude sophistication and warmth aiming to attract the discerning downsizer market.
