New Appointments
Hillam Architects is pleased to announce some new appointments at our studio.
A big congratulations to Eleanor Shepherd, who has just been appointed as an Architectural Graduate. Eleanor first joined Hillam in September 2023 in a receptionist role, later assisting in marketing activities for both Hillam Architects and Loam while studying architecture at UWA.
“It’s been a huge learning curve, studying at university while working on real-world projects,” she said. “I’m lucky to have had the opportunity to be a part of a couple of successful tenders, DRPs and a development application, all before graduating.”
Our capacity has been further strengthened with the appointment of Courte Harlow as a Senior Project Designer. Courte brings over 10 years of architectural experience, with a particular focus on Computational Design and Artificial Intelligence.
We are also happy to welcome Ash Bugge as a Senior Interior Designer. Ash has significant experience with both large architectural firms and design + construct builders, able to guide the entire process from client liaison through to complete design and construction documentation, estimates, submissions and on-site project management.
We are also joined by Sue Benson as Senior Bookkeeper. Sue has a wealth of experience in accounting having worked for 13 years in the energy industry and professional services. We are excited for Sue to join the finance team and believe she will add immense value with her demonstrated skills and experience.
